Despite the restrictions in place due to the coronavirus pandemic, the charity Christmas market held under the motto “Thank you for 20 years of Kranzler Eck Berlin” in the festively illuminated inner courtyard was a wonderful success.
The numerous visitors took the opportunity to bring a little Christmas cheer and normality to their lives and enjoy bratwurst and mulled wine. Several charitable organisations presented their projects and generated some income for a good cause through the sales of Christmas biscuits, as well as small gifts. Participating organisations included the Berliner Morgenpost newspaper and its “Berliner Helfen!” campaign, the nature and species protection organisation, BOS Deutschland e.V., ArcheEngel, Märkische Künstlerhof, Kunstverein Brieselang, Straßenkinder e.V. , the Limberger Werkbüro together with the association Arivu -Zukunft durch Bildung e.V.
At the booth of the AG City and the German Red Cross Wärmebus (which provides relief for the homeless during the winter months), the Berliner Sparkasse, along with Mario Czaja, President of the German Red Cross Berlin, and Arne Herz, Deputy District Mayor of the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district, presented a check in the amount of EUR 2,000 for the Wärmebus.
